300607 & 010707 SATURDAY & SUNDAY I went fishing again! This time round I went with 9 other people, including my siblings and my cousins. Venue was Pulau Sibu's kelong at Johor Bahru Malaysia. I was pretty excited cos this was the first time I been to a kelong, not to mention to fish there. I was totally looking forward to it because I really enjoy myself the last time we went to Batam to fish. The price was really affordable! $68 including bus rides to and from your house, meals at the kelong, free sotong baits, and comfortable beds and clean toilets for one night. Its really a nice place for CHALET, but it was really disappointing for fishing. There were hardly any fish and there were too many people at the kelong. Though I caught a few fishes, the fishes were small. Unlike the sharks we caught in BATAM, which was more exciting. Paul did manage to catch a HUGE CUTTLEFISH and a BABY OCTOPUS, by the rest were hardly something. I wasn' t really burnt but still very tanned although i applied SUNBLOCK every 4-5 hours. And the worst thing was that we did not manage to bring our fishes back because someone stole them!!! Hopefully we will go to some other exciting place in the future, where huge fishes exist! :D Up, up, and away! |
