I agree with clone that live is really unpredictable. People have been coming and leaving and everything seems to happen too fast. My SACO conductor had passed away. I heard that he had been recovering from the chemotherapy for his cancer but the cancer cells came back. I was quite shocked when I received the sms from marcus. Conductor had been a really nice guy. always smiling and stuff. We used to complain how lenient he is to us. But come to think of that, if he wasn't friendly den most probably there wouldn't be a strong bond between erhu clique. Yesterday the SACO people, different batches of juniors and seniors went to his funeral. But i wasn't there. I know its quite mean to not attend his funeral as what Marcus said, that is the last time we will be seeing him. But after attending the funeral of a friend's mother a few months ago, I really can't bring myself to go through such an emotional time again. Marcus said that as the conductor was lying in there he was still smiling, like the old times when he will always be seen smiling. Im glad of that. At least he had left in peace. Although I haven touch an er-hu for eons, but recently I have the urge to pick up an er-hu to play just a tune or simply a note. Hopefully, people can forgive me for not turning up in his funeral.
