Today we went to Settler's Cafe at Holland V.
Its a long time since we went there together.
I think ever since Breko!

Anyway we tried to play as much games as we can within the 3 hours.
The pig game, the shaking igloo-guessing no. of ball game, the dice-present game, ur no. larger than my no. game and the ur noun larger than my noun game.
Can't believe that I actually tried that much game.
Really really fun.
bl having lots of luck today!

den finally the climax, which is the reveal the present session.
where I got my scrapbook, ms got her huge bear and bl her worship cd and nicholas sparks's dear john.
everyone happy and contented!

On the way home at the 165 busstop, i met isobel who had just finish ending her service at a nearby church.
Took 165 and chatted a little with her.

PHYSIOLOGY IS ALSO DEAD BECAUSE I COULDN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING FOR IMMUNOLOGY AND RESPIRATORY EXCEPT FOR THE VARIOUS LYMPHOCYTES AND THE ANATOMY OF RESPIRATORY.

These few weeks there had been quite a number of articles posted in the chinese and english newspaper on why peopl think that Singapore is a better place to live in as compared to other cities such as Hong Kong. I was thinking through this problem while reading those articles and now i should try to list out 10 REASONS WHY SINGAPORE IS A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN.
I wanted to list out 100 but I kind think of so much! :X

10 REASONS WHY I LIKE SINGAPORE!

1) WE HAVE PLENTY OF TREES! i lurve trees and they contribute greatly to our low PSI index!

2) WE ARE MULTILINGUAL! even though i speak lousy hokkien, at least i understand what people say k!

3) WE HAVE OUR OWN NATIONAL THEME SONG EVERY YEAR! which i dun think other countries had.

4) WE HAVE HAWKER CENTRES! not as though i prefer non-aircon to aircon areas.

5) MANY PLACES BAN SMOKING! have been a second-hand smoker for 2 decades and i know!

6) WE ARE MULTI-RACIAL SOCIETY AND WE LURVE EACH OTHER! been reading about the conflict in south thailand and many other places.

7) MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE HERE! very important point to note.

8) HAVE WIDE RANGE OF FOOD! though the wanton mee is not as good as hk, we can improve on it!

9) WE DUN HAVE CEMENTED FLOOR EVERYWHERE! everything can breathe!!!

10) LASTLY, WE DUN HAVE OVERHEAD SIGNAGE AND ADVERTISEMENTS ON OUR BUILDINGS! i can't imagine how some people can tolerate water dripping from everywhere over their head when walking down the streets!

MONDAY 18TH JUNE 2007

Back from KL finally.
In conclusion,the PSI index in both cities ( HK AND KL) are horrible!
I couldn't imagine how people live there for their whole lives.
There is no trees in the urbanised area, only buildings and more buildings.
Shopping was definitely much better in HK than in KL.
I dun mean the shopping centres but the women street and all sort of streets.
And the food in HK is definitely much better and nicer!
Currently Im trying to upload my photos for HK.
I miss taking planes! ;(
I miss disneyland. though its all kiddy rides.
I miss the MTR.
I miss TANGCHAO
I miss mangopudding
I miss all the shopping

The wk8 presentation went off really well.
Everyone were laughing and Sue actually told me that this was the very first presentation that she had not slept in.
I was glad that it was over but at the same time missing the laughter we had when going through the script.
This is definitely one of the best project I ever had!

Met Angeline, eve and shuwei after school with joyce back at Potong Pasir.
It was the 1st time we stepped into school ever since result day.
We actually had to walk all the way to the main entrance since SA had "intelligently" installed one-way rotating door as the side gate.
School was really empty due to the school holidays, and we are unable to get to meet Ms Soh.

Really misses her lots.
After that we went to eat our fave dry ban mian at broadway.
It tastes exactly the same as before. REALLY YUMMY!
How I wish NYP had it. den maybe I will eat that everyday.

Went to watch SHREK 3 next.
Hm. I dun understand why some people are so keen in watching that.
I dun think the story is that appealing. Especially when the DISNEY princesses look much better.
Whole story is about the restoration about the new king in the FAR FAR AWAY land. AND FIONA wanting kids!
That dun really make sense.
The thing which is only appealing to me is the CUTE SHREK BABIES!
That's all!!

Oh man!
Finally Im free enough to enter a post in blogger and also to upload my pictures from the mayday concert.
It had been a really really busy week.

This week is really really busy because:
week 8 presentation
sociology test
tues's SGH kinesilogy prac
Arts homework
ANATOMY!

Im really glad that I survived Anatomy today.
In fact, its more fun than the other pracs we were having the past few weeks.
The chanting of the back of forearm muscles had been extremely fun!
Wk 8 presentation is tml.
I really enjoyed the company of our wk 8 grp. liek Razi, Alvin, Lixin, Sook teng and of course my own class peeps.
Hope that the GAY thingy goes well tml.

I have been really stress because of the mountain of work to do and prepare for school.
Which reminds me of what Vicki had said.
She said that she is glad that now the JCs people know that being in a poly does not mean slack and easy.
That is really true!
I have to admit that I use to be one of the many that do not understand why people would choose to go polys if they can get into JCs.
Not to mention that I actually chose a Poly instead of a University!
Though the rest of the school is younger than me, more hyper active than me, more childish than me, I dun think I made a wrong choice!
So far I really enjoyed my course.
I hope I can survive it and come out with a converted degree!

Calvin Sim ( my part-time biomechanics lect) said that the pay for physiotherapists is definitely not as high as we think. They actually earn only about 3-4k even if they are teh Senior Physiotherapist in a public hospital.
The pay is really not high but what I was thinking is that, if we were meant to help more people(as majority said), we shouldn't be that concern about the pay rite? *just rants!
And I really dun understand why the govt will not allow the registration of physiotherapists.
I rather be paying a group of people who are capable of sustaining life of the public than paying people to come up with stupid ideas such as PW and SPA.
You will have to agree with me that PW and SPA are really sucky!
Hopefully registration comes really soon!

Tmr will be the last day for the term before we will go off for the 2 weeks break (study breaks).
I think i will be so screwed cos I won't be around for 1 whole entire week and im having my physiology and kinesiology prac test on the 2nd day of school reopen.
I AM SO DEAD!
I seriously got no idea how im I going to do all that!

020607 SATURDAY MAYDAY JUMP CONCERT 2007

Finally the day has come. MAYDAY JUMP 2007 at Max Pavilion.

The concert starts at 8pm but I was already at Expo at 5pm.

When I came out the train, there was a big group of people. And they were running towards the Max Pavilion. I was totally in shock cos I was very surprised that so many people actually came so early to get their merchandises. I was pretty worried that I couldn't get the Tees.

IN THE END, the crowd were actually the City Harvest People, which is like 2 halls away from Max Pavilion.

I was very sure that we were the 1st 20 to reach Max Pavilion.

Had dinner at BK while continuing our enthusiastic conversation about Spongebob and MAYDAY :D

And guess what, I bought my shirt! But its M size unfortunately! S was sold out.

All the concert tix were sold out so its was full house.

We ( me and CLONE) bought the $150 tix, so we were sitting at block A4. which is pretty near the stage and we could actually see their faces so clearly!

The concert started of with a movie made by MAYDAY themselves!

After that was an explosive welcome from MAYDAY!

Followed by combination of medley from their 1st album.

Everyone were super HIGH, waving their lightsticks and singing along. *or should i say shouting along.

The best part started when they started singing wo men chu lian le, followed by lian ai ING.

The floor and roof were all shaking and vibrating very vigorously.

I was busy singing, taking photos and videos at the smae time.

I was pretty glad that there were no special guest cos this would mean that they have more time to sing their songs.

I was dancing and singing alone with the tunes. Jumping and waving lightstick like nobody's business.

But i was very disappointed with the guy sitting beside me.

He was obviously not a fan of Mayday, cos he know none of the songs and wasn't even moving with the tune.
What a waste of tickets!

The whole thing rocks.

Now my deltoids and biceps are aching from the vigorous waving of lightsticks.

Masa did a solo. And he sang really really well.

I was joking to CLONE that if Ashin is ever going to quit, Masa can take over. ( but pls NO!!! MAyday won't be MAyday if everyone are not there)

Shijie is really cute with him waving with the drumsticks on the stage.

But Masa's angel constume is really not very nice. hahaa.

Ashin as usual look like a PRINCE! :D

Overall, the concert was really a blast.

I LURVE IT and I am so gonna go for the next one next year!

its was really rush and im really glad he is working today.

310507 Thursday Vesak Day

Today we ( me and my siblings) finally met up with my cousins and aunties, whom we have not seen for a very long time.

Its such a nice get together. And my cousin grew taller!

Its really a shock cos we usually laugh at him for being so immature for a secondary school boIts just a few months and he had changed so much. PUBERTY!

So the afternoon had been spent in the Shuanglin temple at Toa Payoh.

Bathed the buddha and had vegetarian lunch.

Actually I had no idea what is the idea behind Vesak Day

Ever since I was in primary school, I had been going to this particular temple for every vesak day.It becomes a routine every year. In the afternoon, I went to meet the s55 girls to get Cheryl T. bdae present. Finally we bought a Fossil wallet. Glad that she likes her present.

We went to Ms Clarity Cafe for dinner.

Its near City Hall.

The food there was really great and the best thing is that they don't charge GST and service charge. And their main courses are from $8-10.

It so cheap!!!

I guess I will be going there soon. Feel the urge to bring my sis there to try out the food.
