This morning my dad was asking me how was school. it been quite a while since my parents were concerned about my school work. ever since that incident. anyway i was telling him that this sem was much tougher than the last sem. To my horror, he said very calmly "good". that is a very very wrong answer and response. But anyway i bet he must be thinking that harder school work might make me a better person. my bro dropped his phone from the overhead bridge last night at 12.30am. Me and sis got to bring torchlights to the overhead bridge to search for his pathetic battery and battery cover. to make matter worse, it was raining. it was really really cold out there. anyway we manage to find them before all of us get really dirty. i borrowed this book called "The student's guide to exam success" from the school library yesterday and I can;t believe that I have actually finished the book on the same day. Im trying to make changes to my life. hopefully i will be able to. been trying hard to get the anatomy's stuff into my brain. i must have a pea-sized brain, hence not enough neurones to bring information to my brain. and i desperately need time. i got so much to read and study. i want more time! sometimes i wonder whether is it necessary to voice out everything in your mind. be it happy stuff or even stuff that irritates you. i dun have the habit of doing that. maybe sometimes. when i reach my max. tolerance. as people say that they never see me lose my temper before. i get pissed easily. its just that i dun like to show it. i mean if you dun intend any bad news or something else spreading around. den i think we should just keep it to ourselves. hm. news travels. and fast too. oh yah. Sunday, October 28, 2007 - 4:33 PM oh. dear friends, i forgot to add on to the last post that my parents won't be around on the 9th of November. i think, guess and heard from my aunt. hahah they are going overseas AGAIN! not very confirmed. though. will ask them when they come back from KL tmr. yeah. so those interested in stayovers, pls contact me. hahaha - 4:24 PM facebook is real real fun. those still not in it. go join it now! facebook gave me lots of surprises. and the most pleasant one is definitely my latest group "NYPS 6G'99" yep. its my primary 6 class in nanyang. Can you believe that its like almost 8 years ago since I have spoken with the rest. Its such a great group. Thanks to si-en and steph for creating the group. its really fun trying to recall the fun memories by leaviing msgs. I have actually forgotten so many people, their nicknames, their looks. Now having great fun on facebook chatting with them, reliving our ancient memories. yeah. can;t believe that some of them actually remember my nickname. haha LIM DIE. its a long story. because I used to write my J without the stroke at the top. yeah but someone found out that my J looks like a small caps D. that's how my nick came about. I really thank facebook for finding back my primary school friends! :D Friday, October 26, 2007 - 12:17 PM  Yesterday was so fun! First the ultimate frisbee and den dinner at Brewerkz. Played ultimate frisbee with the other 7 people in class. After the first point was scored, everyone was damn tired. Couldn't believe that we actually played for the entire 2 hours. We played 5 vs 5 first before some people left, or went to rest. As we were playing the 3 on 3, some sports and wellness people actually came to ask whether they can come and join us. I was surprised that they had no idea how to play it. But anyway, they took really fast to catch the game. They had all guys and only 1 girl, and we had i guy and all girls. Hence had no choice but to mix the teams evenly. The game was real fun because everyone were too engrossed. After the game, i sustained 2 injuries? 1 scratch on my thigh and 1 near the wrist. Problem is that I had no idea when did they appear. haha! After frisbee, waited for joyce for the dinner at clarke quay. So we met the rest (eve, cheryl, amanda, angie and surong) at the station. We went to BREWERKS. yeap. its a bar cum resaurant like place. By 6pm the place was pretty crowded. we ordered 3 appetisers, 4 main courses, 1 dessert and 1 jug of fruitbeer. it was pretty amusing when we told the waiter that we wanted 1 jug, cos we had 8 people. so in the end, each of us got 1/2 a mug of beer. i particularly like the green soba salad. its huge, with chicken bits and stuff, and most importantly its sauce was superb. Me and manda shared the bbq pork ribs. The ribs was nice but i was filled with too much food that i couldn't eat much. I was pretty sure that the waiter was quite annoyed with us, cos he was hovering around our table for quite long, waiting for us to place our orders. haha so sorry but we were still waiting for shuwei to turn up.. so overall the ambience and everything was really nice, and its nice to meet up with a bunch of friends, dine, wine and talk for 3 hours. After that, went for a walk around clarke quay. me and manda was really amazed with the night life singapore had. especially the restaurants which look so cool and funky. thanks we are ignorant girls. Saturday, October 20, 2007 - 1:15 PM HAPPY 20TH bIRTHDAY TO YW! Haven been blogging cos ever since sch reopened, I haven have time to get enough sleep, let alone blog. So pls bear with me. recently im quite addicted to online shopping. not that i have been shopping but window shopping. haha. So as usual yw is the last in our group to be 2o years old. lets hope that she continues to be mature, sensible and considerate. haha *ps just joking k. yep den i shall wish that u will do incredibly well in ur studies, excel in your cca, and finally find someone that u will happy to be with. remember that we will always be there for you. we shall meet up sometime next week. any preferences for ur own birthday gift this year? feel free to msg me or bl. hahaha to move on. sch has started and its really super long hours, draining all my energy at the end of each day. not to mention that the syllabus is getting tougher and tougher. and i still have my golf lessons on wed night. really tiring. been trying to catch up with my work. still trying. will conitnue to try. yesterday was weixiang's 21st birthday. was invited to his party. thanks for inviting me. really appreciated! hope you like ur gift! had been wondering how to celebrate my 21st birthday next year. hm. nvm still got months to go! Thursday, October 04, 2007 - 11:27 PM im very tired. kinda tired of my family. - 10:38 PM I am so tired! Had my 1st golf lesson yesterday along with my sis, bro and mum. And its so so so super tiring. I used to think that golf is just a stick with a small ball. And that it cannot be considered as a sport because its just swinging and trying to hit that ball. But after standing in the posture for just 1/2 hour, i can feel myself perspiring like mad. its so tiring. after the 2 1/2 hours of lesson, i guess im the worst one of all. the instructor keep coming to correct my posture. its so stressed, especially when the rest seems to be doing better than yourself. golf is really interesting. anyway, i was discussing with joyce about getting an mp3 or the DS lite which i had been dreaming about. in the end, we conclude that an mp3 would be more feasible. so sorry shuhui! i dun have that much money to get both. besides im pretty fed-up with the wma-mp3 format convertor on my com. they dun seem to work. i wonder when will i get my 1st pay. im kinda looking forward to school! Monday, October 01, 2007 - 12:19 AM So this morning my family went down to ABC hawker centre for brunch. And surprisingly, unlike the afternoon crowd during the weekdays, the place was relatively quiet. And I finally tried the tua hway and found my char siew rice stall. And tmr im so gonna eat that for lunch!!! Noon, went town with my bro. the main purpose was actually to use up my free personal pan pizza voucher. in the end i loan extra 60+ bucks to bro for his new adidas bag. SIGH! im not rich u know. Anyway im glad that the theory test is not this tues but next. so that i won't be accused of not studying for it again! I got to pass it! Ryonen School Host Club is really addicting! I can't stop watching. ARGH! time for bed! Up, up, and away! |
