I have people asking me what i want for my birthday. But i have such an unnecessary long lists of stuff that i wanted. if u ask me if i want anything that i think im missing. i think it would be "myself from few years back" i think i changed. but i can't change back. some people will agree with me. and u can't get that back. ANYWAY, i shall hint abit on what i like. but close friends should already know. haha. ![]() i stopped collecting quite a long time becos i am a stingy girl. The picture shows the grand hotel which i saw at taka departmental store. OH NO. i cant tink of any at the moment. but anyway. i will like everything anyone gives me. yes. i will. have a happy day! Thursday, February 28, 2008 - 9:05 PM KIDULT A kidult is a "grown-up" person who enjoys being a part of youth culture and doing things that are usually thought as more suitable for children, for example, playing with toys or video games, reading comic books, watching cartoons, sleeping in a blanket sleeper or with a stuffed animal. A kidult may also dress like and/or have a hairstyle like that of a teenager or younger child. (definition from wikipedia) This week's I-weekly topic was on kidult. Thomas Ong and Nathaniel Ho were interviewed. I din really read through the whole interview, but there was this interesting kidult test after the interview section. Interestingly, my aunt asked me to test myself. But i told her that Im not a kidult. firstly im still not yet an adult, secondly i dun think im that childish. unfortunately my aunt thinks likewise. she thinks that im still acting OR RATHER im still a child. Anyway some of the question goes like this. 1) Are you above 25? 2) Do you game overnight or watch dramas or tv shows overnight? 3) Do you read manga or watch anime? 4) Do you have a child-like heart? 5) Do you collect figurines? 6) Do you follow the current fashion trend and wear your own "style"? 7) Do you watch more japanese dramas than korean dramas? 8) Do you like to spend alot but yet still have your own savings? They had more questions, about 25 i guess. But that's all i could remember. And they actually had a grading at the end. Firstly, im not 25. I do watched anime and read manga. But i dun see a problem with it. I dun really keep figurines, unless u consider my Sylvanian Families Collection figurines. I watched more korean dramas and japanese dramas. I dun game overnight. But occasionally watch dramas. haha. I SERIOUSLY DUN THINK I HAVE A CHILD-LIKE MINDSET, but my aunts insist that i have. I agree that i wear my own style and im pretty much proud about it. I wish i could spend but im too stingy to do it. i like cartoons, but not all. And most importantly, i dun sleep with stuffed animal, unless u consider melman. who been on my bed for years. IM NOT CHILDISH! see. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 - 12:13 PM 260208 Tuesday s55 clique had a sentosa outing. everyone supposed to meet at 10.30am sharp at harbourfront. funny thing sw finally came on time after like being late for nth time everytime we met. good improvement sw! we din bring anything, no food, no frisbee, 1 little mat, no volleyball, had no idea what we were doing there when we first reached siloso beach. but anyway the objective of the day was to TEACH SW AND MEL HOW TO RIDE A BIKE. we spent like tons of money renting a bike at siloso. glad that sw managed to balance herself on the bike after exactly 1 hour. its so cool rite, anyway all thanks to joyce, who played a major role in teaching her. i couldn't help cos i had no idea how i learned it at the first place. cycling and teaching cycling was fun and tiring. i fell asleep while suntanning. missed all the excitement and commotions behind me. when mel came to join us, they went for a second lesson on cycling. i was stationed at the bench area to look after everyone's stuff and for picture-taking. *ps. pictures in facebook. took all glam, unglam, candid photos of everyone except for myself. HAHA! the gals went to watch JUNO at vivo after the bathing. unfortunately i had my driving lesson. i wouldn't mind watching JUNO again. :( rushed all the way from harbourfront to yiochukang. the auto lesson was indeed brainless. but it was really fun. thanks to my driving instructor. who will swing his hard really hard at every bend, to make sure i check my blindspots. why im i taking manual classes?!? had no idea. auto is really no stress! rushed home den gotta rushed out again to the airport to pick my parents. when i reached home, i was really very dead. but anyway that's for a really-packed day. suntanning wasn't really effective. not much tan. but its fun. :) *surong. we have the same ipodnano. haha. Saturday, February 23, 2008 - 10:20 PM sometimes im very upset with myself. its obviously other's fault but i cant help it but be angry about it. i always wonder why cant others be more responsible. but i cant blame them either because im not that responsible as well. i really dun wanna care and think about it. but i really couldn't help it. CAN I STOP THINKING THAT MUCH. and stop trying to be a nice person all the time? Im just harming myself. ON A HAPPIER NOTE. went to manda's house for stayover with joyce. since we missed the outing the other time, im glad we can go to her house again. her house is really huge. toilets huge, rooms huge, beautiful scenery, huge empty spaces. she can actually "own" the whole entire PSA port from her room. haha. anyway i tried my vey best to stay awake to watch ocean's thirteen, but unfortunately, i fell asleep before they even started to carry out their plan in getting the money. next morning, we played threesome mahjong. mahjong's fun. went town later. now im tired and frustrated. i must treat myself better. at least emotionally. Friday, February 22, 2008 - 10:36 AM Exams ended. but im not excited. im really not. instead im feeling more stressed than usual. im not working as hard as i should be. i really want to. clinicals coming. sigh. its supposed to be fun. :( watched JUNO with the class. its really a nice show. glad that i went with them. had to go to grandma's place after that. waited for a really long time for 156. yeah. most people ususally give up waiting or just keep complaining. but i think i must really enjoy the bus trip alot. i enjoy stoning in the bus. in my own world. another friend with 21st birthday. soon it will be mine. my bro and sis had decided what to give me. they are keeping it as a secret. they shall reveal it on the day itself. HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO GILLIAN. hey sorry that i couldn't make it for ur birthday party! I hoped u enjoyed yourself that day! oh yah. if u happen to read this, can i have ur aust add?? HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY TO MY BROTHER! gotta go and buy his present later! Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 8:21 PM I always wanted to try the macdonald's prosperity burger. I heard rumours that it actually can bring luck. But I can't bring myself to spend $7 or $10 (mcdelivery) on fastfood! Today is everyone's birthday! (according to the lunar calendar) And tomorrow is V. day. Both not significant to me anyway. I guess I must be really wierd and pampered this year. When its christmas, i think of chinese new year. When its CNY, im thinking of mooncake festival. now im thinking of christmas. i was listening through the christmas song playlists in imeem.com this morning, and my sis commented that im a little too late. I replied that im early. i even told my aunt that 365 days are actually very short and by then we will be able to celebrate christmas again. i can't believe that my aunt actually went as far as getting my fave traditional mooncake while people are queuing up to buy bakwa and pineapple tarts. i lurve my family. 7 days of CNY officially gone. 4 days more to the semestral exams. :( another week to a long waited holiday. but another month to the dreaded clinicals. 4 hours to St. valentine day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EVERYONE TODAY HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY jiayou for all PT's students who are currently mugging. :( back to mugging! ps. to surong: i din know my cat-mouse joke thing was that funny that u actually put it under one entry in ur blog. anyway here's another one: which animal is afraid of cold? haha. Wednesday, February 06, 2008 - 11:47 PM just had the most unexpected and wonderful reunion dinner ever since the last 7 years. A new lunar year again. trying to keep myself awake while watching my parents stuff red packets with money. A very full stomach filled with the ingredients from the steamboat. Tomorrow is the day, the day which i will stuff myself with all the CNY goodies, meeting and playing with cousins, of course not forgetting the red packets. i shall thereby wish everyone here a HAPPY AND WONDROUS CHINESE NEW YEAR! ps. i feel you, joanna~! it been stuck in my head! :( Up, up, and away! |
