Had an incredible full tim-sum lunch at crystal jade restaurant with the watten family. 2 tables, a total of 18 people together. It been a long time since we went out in such a big group (even though not all turned up) , not including the usual sat gathering though. shopping in town is really torturous. due to the F1 event, people stop going to the city area, and instead flooded the orchard area. everywhere were people, more with people donned with ferrari, mcclaren's apparells. obviously there are more ferrari fans out there. i wasn't excited about the event. tried watching my cousin's 2 min video clip of the F1 event which she took at the grand stand. it was hm.. broring.. but den the zooming sound is quite nice though. she had 12 tickets in total for the grand stand, but no one was interested. to us, its just cars zooming past. my brother went with my uncle last night. they had the grand stand seat at gate 1. i have no idea where is it. but they were back before it actually started. haha. i guessed that they were bored. another working week coming again. sigh. Saturday, September 27, 2008 - 11:32 AM first week of work went past in a breeze. finally the long waited weekends. hm. attempted to watch the f1 practice session on espn last night. but its too boring for me. heh. cars going round and round the circuit. and all u can see and hear is them zooming past and the loud engine sounds. limjie should stop tanning herself. cos she does not look like a chinese now. ps. i do use whitening moisturizers k. i need to start exercising real soon, stop drinking fruit juices so many times a day, and reduce the amount of things i eat for each main courses. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 - 9:30 PM the wound management lesson conducted by mohan weeks ago is indeed very useful. although i do not know the epa dosage used , at least i know the importance of cleaning the wound. indeed, im currently suffering from having open wounds around the heels of my feet. it is deep, sore, red, pus-filled and it "screams" out loud whenever i try to clean it. this is the outcome of wearing new shoes. having new pretty shoes = having ugly heels. work has been quite successful so far. but its hard to say cos today is only the 2nd day. but den i should keep a positive mind. new resolution: loss fats immediately! Saturday, September 20, 2008 - 1:30 PM We the s55 clique finally met up for our belated teachers' day celebration for Ms Soh! It been a really long time since everyone (eleven of us) turned up for any gathering. Had dinner at Swensons. Chatted alot. I dun have the group photos now. Hopefully it will be updated real soon. Monday will be starting work at AIA. I know everyone has been questioning me about my job scope. But seriously, I still dunno what am i going to do then. Im glad another bunch of friends supported my decision. I will make sure that I will make full use of the time! Monday, September 15, 2008 - 2:51 PM Im indeed having cold feet at this very moment. 2 more minutes to the appointment for a 5 min interview. firstly, i could not imagine myself stuck in an office chair for 8 hours 5 days a week. secondly, i have to go all the way down to raffles place for a mere 5 minutes interview. yep. so indeed, i skipped the interview session. but still, im still needed a job badly. i sent a few resume around. hopefully i get something i want and hopefully the pay wont be that bad. sorry to nad for not going out. spent quite alot of money last friday. (zoo+lunch+dinner) so im quite lazy and reluctant to go out today. So. Quite a number of people knows but no response from them. So, what does it means? Thursday, September 11, 2008 - 5:07 PM i cant believe that i survived the BCLS test with just 1 try. i was still desperately trying to raise the chest of the stupid dummy like just 1 day before. i guess mouth exercise definitely help in CPR, especially when you have wierdly shaped lips, which would stubbornly not seal fully with the dummies' mouth. yeah. a nice ending to nyp. a nice start to begin with. i guess alot of people knew about it already. although i have no idea how they know. but anyway they gotta know it sooner or later. :) Tuesday, September 09, 2008 - 4:58 PM Yesterday was the BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) training. We learnt 4 different types of saving techniques. (2 CPR cum 2 choking techniques) I guess I was the only one that was totally tired after the whole thing. I just could not manage to blow air into the dummies! I was corrected umpteenth times and still din managed to do it properly. Im so sorry to say that you wont be seeing me doing CPR on people, but i will definitely volunteer to call for the ambulance! Thursday, September 04, 2008 - 11:14 AM  WAL......LE EVEE......VA yep. went to watch WALL.E with kiki, diana, fran yesterday! wee. i waited for it for so long. WALL.E is real good. hoorah to pixar! bought a new book from kinokuniya. titled "My godawful life" haven opened it yet. but waiting for a chance to read it. yep. OHHH! HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO JOSEPHINE!!! Up, up, and away! |
