HELLO GUYS! First post from sydney! Yep. Finally i found time away from the tv to update my blog. And so, I am adapting well. I travelled to the city all by myself alone today. So did my mum. I made new friends on my first day of orientation. Hopefully more tmr. I did not fall asleep during the PR talk. I have been to the city almost everyday. Been to chinatown almost everytime i goes to the city. Figured out maps and bus directory, but not the correct bus ticket to use. Most importantly, done all administrative stuff in school and found a place to stay within 2 days. How lucky I am. Though the first day had been devastating for me. I was worried to death about not being about to get a place. Apparently, there are alot of asians in sydney. You see them everywhere, anytime. The weather is totally awesome. Not humid, sunny, with cold wind! Basically I found it quite easy to find ur way through Sydney. All you need is a map. I don't think I will be food sick either since there are lots of oriental markets around. Currently, im having my O-week (orientation week). Pretty slack. Just walking around and looking and booths and stuff. Shall post pictures here on friday. When i am really trully settled down! :) Up, up, and away! |
