I never knew till I got to get my own food.

Anyway since I kind of restricted my grocery shopping to 20 dollars a week, buying meat is way too expensive, since it cost about 10 dollars for a box.

Besides fruits are never cheap, and I just cannot survive without fruits.

I choose fruits over meat. I do not fancy meat either.

PS. btw chicken breast meat are way more expensive than chicken wings and drumsticks. In sg, wings and drumsticks are usually the expensive stuff. Since I only eat lean meat, it is a disadvantage for me to eat meat in ozland.

My housemates were probably thinking how I can survive without eating meat.

I did not know I cannot survive without it till I have this sudden urge for red meat 2 hours ago.

The craving was so bad that I rush all the way down to anzac parade to get a box of taiwanese benton with their signature pork ribs.

It was pretty expensive ($9). More expensive than the sweet and sour pork rice from kingsford chinese restaurant ($6.50). But benton has vegetables and not just meat.

Considering the last time I ate meat was the 3 shrimps from my vietnamese springrolls on tuesday, I think I am quite happily surviving without meat.

Going semi-vegetarian seems okay for me.

Let's see how long this meal of pork ribs will last before the next craving comes again :)
